Cars of Palestine - Road Trip, Parade and Car Show!By Karen Harrington Come join us for our annual Road Trip to the Dogwood Trail Festival in Palestine, Texas. This includes a scenic drive to Palestine about 120 Miles from the Dallas area, an enthusiastic Texas Home Town Parade, a Fantastic Car Show with a featured spot for our club Mustangs, a winding drive through blooming Dogwoods in the Davey Dogwood Park, our Gary Neirynck panoramic photo to hold our memories with friends and cars in time. We finish the day with a relaxed drive on another beautiful route back to Dallas.
· Saturday, March 21, 2009 · Meet at Wal-Mart parking lot located at US Highway 80 and Belt Line Road in Mesquite at 6:40 am · Please check in with us when you arrive · leave 7:00 am sharp · Pit Stop, we take a break about an hour into our trip at Athens · Arrive Anderson County Courthouse at 9:30 am; Parade begins at 10:00 am. Two Way Personal Radios are a great way to communicate and they add fun to the trip. Car Show -- go to Cars of Palestine site for registration information. Pre-registration date is March 14th for $15. At the gate registration $20. Photos and more info are available on the website. The SCAT Club has made this cruise since the mid 1990's and the North Texas Mustang Club has joined SCAT for 9 or 10 years. We have 32 cars signed up already.
